Anupam Kher’s ‘Tanvi The Great’ holds UK premiere after Cannes debut
Following its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, ‘Tanvi The Great’, directed by Anupam Kher, held its UK premiere on 21st May at Riverside Studios in London.
The screening was attended by the cast, including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Shubhangi Dutt (in her debut role), and Karan Tacker. The event featured a red carpet reception, a film screening, and a post-show Q&A moderated by Kher.

The film follows the story of Tanvi Raina, a young autistic girl determined to honour her father’s military legacy by reaching the Siachen Glacier, with support from a retired army major. The narrative explores themes of perseverance, societal barriers, and personal growth.
