Janhvi Kapoor replaces Deepika Padukone in ‘Spirit’
Following reports that Deepika Padukone has stepped away from ‘Spirit’ in favour of Atlee’s upcoming film, it is now being said that Janhvi Kapoor will take on the lead role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated project.
Padukone, who has been riding high on the monumental success of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which continues to dominate the box office—had been in discussions for ‘Spirit’ for several months. However, with her increasingly packed schedule, she opted for Atlee’s big-budget action spectacle instead.

Interestingly, Janhvi Kapoor is also involved in Atlee’s film, tentatively titled ‘AA22xA6’. She joins Deepika Padukone and Mrunal Thakur in what promises to be an adrenaline-fuelled blockbuster, backed by Sun Pictures and boasting an impressive budget of Rs. 700 crore.
