Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Aashiqui 3’ set to go on the floors in March 2025
Anurag Basu has confirmed that the highly anticipated ‘Aashiqui 3’ will commence filming in March.
The film, starring Kartik Aaryan, was first announced in 2022. Providing an update on the project, Basu stated, “We will start the shoot next month.”

Initially, Triptii Dimri was set to star alongside Aaryan, but reports now suggest she has been dropped. Last month, a source revealed, “The fundamental requirement for the heroine of Aashiqui 3 is innocence, and as observed by the team, Triptii Dimri, with her recent films, has become too exposed to be cast in this romantic film, which demands purity in demeanor from the female lead. Aashiqui is a legendary, soulful love story, and the makers do not see Triptii fitting the parameters.”
The film is currently in its pre-production stage.
