Popular fashion designer, Manish Malhotra will reportedly be turning director for a project helmed by his best friend, Karan Johar.
PeepingMoon reports that Malhotra will be directing a “dramatic musical love story” set in the partition era. The report adds that the story and screenplay has been written by Malhotra himself.
A source said, “It’s a solid script, one of the finest Dharma Productions has worked on, and everybody is very excited.”
