Colors axes Pranali Rathod’s ‘Durga’

Colors has decided to pull the plug on ‘Durga’ after a short stint on-air.

The show, featuring Pranali Rathod and Aashay Mishra in lead roles, is set to air its final episode on Sunday 5th January.

This marks the second recent cancellation for Colors. Just days ago, ‘Mera Balam Thanedar’ was also taken off-air amidst reports of alleged disputes involving its lead actress, Shruti Chaudhary.

Despite launching with significant hype, ‘Durga’ struggled to resonate with viewers. Its outdated storytelling approach is believed to be a major reason for its abrupt conclusion, as the show failed to attract a strong audience base.
